Tracking your sales pipeline, no matter what kind of business it may be, is important. Managers and sales reps need to know what the potential customer pipeline looks like at any point in time (in detail and in aggregate) based on the given stage that a customer is in. Anyone will be able to understand that by using this sheet.
This template makes it easy to organize potential customers into different status types and automatically pull information from a single database in regards to the value of each sales pipeline stage as well as filter the database so that each pipeline stage can be summarized by the customers that make it up. Changing a status will automatically change the given stage values.
Data fields in the database entry tab include:
- Pipeline Status
- Customer Type
- Account Executive (salesmen)
- Annual $ Value of Client
The pre-defined fields for the possible status labels are:
- Possible Churn
- Lost Client
Dropdown lists can be populated according to the data relevant to your company. This includes the types of customers (up to 4), sales executives, pipeline status, and customer names. Dropdown selections are used to lower the chance of data entry error.
On the database tab itself, the user will automatically see rows that are labeled as ‘negotiated’ highlighted in blue with conditional formatting.
